Pneumatic Plugs for Pipelines
The plugs represent inflatable rubber-fabric covers in shape of cylinder, flat envelope or tore.
The plugs are designated for isolating of pipeline section where operations are performed from the remaining part of pipeline with liquid or gaseous environment under the pressure not less than 1 bar. The pressure can equal up to 4, 6 or 10 bar in specific cases.
The pipeline is covered and pressurized during a few minutes providing environmental protection of the area where repair operations are performed.
Blind air pressure plugs are designated for pipeline shank bore of different diameters while assuming of emergency measures, repair and adjustment operations performed with oil pipelines, oil-product pipelines, water pipe, sewerage and heating systems (including chemical enterprises).
Encircling air pressure plugs are designated for liquid or gas bypass in pipeline around the place of repair operations.
Folding air pressure plugs are designated for pipeline shank bore of different diameters while assuming of emergency measures, repair and adjustment operations performed with oil pipelines, oil-product pipelines, water pipe, sewerage and heating systems (including chemical enterprises).
